“Heart is one of the most important organs of the body. It acts as a pump, getting bad blood from the body which it pumps to lungs to get cleared off the toxins. It then receives the good blood and pumps it across to all body for nutrition necessary for survival. Heart has namely four chambers, two small called Atria and two big chambers called Ventricles. There are four valves which guard these chambers entry/exit. They are called Mitral, Aortic, Tricuspid and Pulmonary Valves. The heart requires nutrition for itself which is suppled through its own blood vessel network called Coronary Arteries. Problem with these coronary arteries leading to lack of supply to the heart can give rise to problems like Angina and Heart Attacks. Similarly as heart is basically a muscle, a problem with the muscle leading to lack of proper pump action of the heart leads to problems like heart failure.”
